[00:00:02] Speaker A: That's what I did.
[00:00:04] Speaker B: What's up, dude?
Oh, your video is way lacked.
[00:00:09] Speaker A: It's lagged.
[00:00:12] Speaker B: Oh, now it's good. I think.
[00:00:15] Speaker A: Test 12. My upload speed is 97, 99.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: All right, whatever.
[00:00:24] Speaker A: Is it okay?
[00:00:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I think so, man.
[00:00:28] Speaker A: That's your Internet shit.
[00:00:30] Speaker B: I got good Internet, bruh.
[00:00:32] Speaker A: Test it. Let's test it right now.
[00:00:35] Speaker B: Test, test, test.
[00:00:39] Speaker B: Test, test. You ain't gonna mess.
Better watch your chest because I'm shooting you right below the neck.
[00:00:46] Speaker A: We're opening with that.
[00:00:49] Speaker B: What's up, bro? What's up? Dude?
[00:00:53] Speaker A: I just fucking was binge watching this account on Instagram called John Breaks Bad News.
It's hilarious.
So essentially, I don't really know how it works, but apparently people, like, pay him to call other people and break bad news to them.
So, like, people who are, like, quitting their job, people who are, like, breaking up with people, like, all kinds of funny shit. Dude.
[00:01:16] Speaker B: Dude, that's actually a good idea.
[00:01:18] Speaker A: Yeah, he gets hella views. He's got 1.3 million followers.
[00:01:22] Speaker B: That means they're coward, though. Those people are cowards.
[00:01:26] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, kind of. But, like, the things that they are, like, saying are pretty savage. Like, if I could go back and quit the last job.
[00:01:35] Speaker A: Yeah, do it through John Breaks Bad News. Like, that would be hilarious.
[00:01:40] Speaker B: Is this. Is this live?
[00:01:43] Speaker A: Yeah, dude, we have 400, 450,000 people watching right now.
[00:01:50] Speaker B: That's it.
[00:01:51] Speaker A: Yeah, that. Dude, it's a slow night, I guess. I don't know, bro.
[00:01:55] Speaker B: People are working.
Yeah.
[00:01:58] Speaker A: Yeah, people are working or something. I don't know.
[00:02:00] Speaker B: Yeah, I just gotta phone my manager. And he's like. He's like, are you still working? And I'm like, bro, it's three o' clock my time, dude.
I was like, no, I don't have to be.
[00:02:12] Speaker A: That's actually a really good sign, dude. Well, he.
[00:02:16] Speaker B: He's on East Coast.
Okay. Yeah, he's on East Coast. And I was like, yeah. I was like.
And he was done with his day, and we just got off a call and stuff, and I was just.
We were just. I was rapping with him about, like, recap and next steps and stuff, but I was just like, yeah, bro, I work till five, dog.
[00:02:36] Speaker B: I was like, I can be done by three, though. That's cool.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: Yeah, well, the. The nice thing about your job is work until the work is done.
You know, like, some days. Like, some days it's really good because you can be off by whatever. I mean, granted, there are times where you have to, like, work in the evenings and expect and all that, you know.
[00:02:55] Speaker B: But, oh, that's the thing, man. If you're in sales, it's like it has that reputation of like, if you get your job done, you can pretty much work flexible hours. Truly, like if you really want to cut out an afternoon if you're count. If you do. If you do your job. Right, right. If you do your job, you got pipeline, you're closing deals. I mean, that's the, that's the beauty of it. But then if you're not, then your ass is working 12, 14 hour days, dude, just to.
[00:03:26] Speaker A: Just to have that little slack dot on when you're not doing well. Yeah, like that's, that's a real thing. Oh, a real thing.
[00:03:34] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:03:34] Speaker A: You know, one of the best things about living in California was all my meetings. Like, even if, like I was working a deal and somebody was living in New York, it were always early meetings.
[00:03:46] Speaker B: Love. I would love that, bro.
[00:03:49] Speaker B: I personally, like, I will say though, I love the patch I have now just because like I was working in my previous role, I was working Southeast, so they were on Central or Eastern, and it's like those are. That's kind of a bummer. Well, your day ends earlier, which. Which is dope, right? Which is, which is good.
[00:04:12] Speaker A: Right?
[00:04:13] Speaker B: But then, you know, you're.
It's just hard to be in line with them sometimes. You know what I mean?
[00:04:20] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean there's definitely like those days where like they want to do at 9:00 clock or something like that and 7:00am, you know? Yeah, I get it. I get it. The so the Days Ahead digital team. I'm like talking to this guy who's in Serbia.
As soon as he said he was from Serbia, I went right to Google, pulled up images of Jokic and I was like, I was like, we love Serbia, which I. I know nothing about the country, but we love Jokic.
[00:04:47] Speaker B: Oh, dude, Serbia is. Is. We have so many things to give to Serbia, dude. They gave us the goat, bro.
[00:04:55] Speaker A: They gave us a goat. He called out Novak Yokovic too.
[00:04:59] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:05:00] Speaker A: I didn't even think about him. I'm like, I don't. I don't know. I don't watch tennis. But yeah, thanks for Jokic.
[00:05:05] Speaker B: So there's another player, I think I, I watched the Nuggets against the.
Who is it Houston that has a Serbia guy that's like, he has very similar play style as yo. As Joker.
Another Serbia guy, bro. Just tall, lanky, and can do everything. It's just wild, bro. Yeah, these Guys are just different, bro.
[00:05:30] Speaker A: I want to go to a basketball game in Serbia. Doesn't that look so hype? Yeah, it's crazy. It's. It. Dude, it's like people are about to go to war.
[00:05:40] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:05:41] Speaker A: Like, they're wild.
[00:05:43] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like a European or a Spanish, like, soccer game.
[00:05:47] Speaker A: Dude, that reminds me when we. When I was living in. In France, and Chris and Jessup visited me when we went and saw psg. There's a whole section of, like, psg. I don't know what they call it. The hooligan section. I don't know what they call it, but they sang Chance the entire time.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: That's amazing.
[00:06:06] Speaker A: Yeah. And we're lighting flares and, like, their flags. Like, we were sitting right behind them. So you almost, like, didn't get a good view, but it was so hype, you didn't care.
[00:06:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I remember the. I remember the videos that you guys said. That was awesome.
[00:06:20] Speaker A: Best.
Best nil. Nil game I've ever seen it.
Not a single. Not a single goal. And what. What made it even worse is Mbappe was on the team at the time, and I think Neymar was on the team at the same time.
[00:06:36] Speaker B: Oh, crap.
[00:06:37] Speaker A: But they were arresting both players because the World Cup.
[00:06:40] Speaker B: Damn.
[00:06:42] Speaker A: You know, the World Cup. And I was like, okay, I don't care.
[00:06:45] Speaker B: Yeah, not anymore. Yeah. How cool is that, dude, that you got to experience that?
[00:06:49] Speaker A: Unbelievable.
[00:06:50] Speaker B: That's a once in a lifetime.
You don't get to. I mean, the chances of America ever winning a World cup is very slim. So that's gonna be cool if that ever happens in our lifetime. But I can only imagine when you're studying, you're. You're literally studying abroad in a different country, and then that country wins the World cup, bro. That's so cool.
[00:07:12] Speaker A: It was so cool, man. And even, like, the games leading up to it, like, the.
[00:07:15] Speaker B: The.
[00:07:15] Speaker A: The disqualifier matches or whatever. Right. People were flipping cars.
[00:07:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:20] Speaker A: After games, like, I'd go down to, like, Shan's Elysees, and the. The Arc of Triumph is right there, and literally cars are, like, turned over and people are jumping on them. They're smashing them. After the World cup, it was. I get chills just thinking about it, but, like, walking down with millions of people down Sean's Elysees, and they're singing their song. I'm mumbling what I think they're saying. I have no idea, bro. I have no idea what's going on.
[00:07:48] Speaker B: That's all I.
[00:07:50] Speaker A: Yeah, it's sacre.
[00:07:51] Speaker B: Blue. Oh, yeah.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: But that was cool, man. It was a lot of fun, dude. Yeah, I, I will forever cherish that, that memory. Yeah.
[00:08:04] Speaker B: So how could you not?
[00:08:05] Speaker A: I know, bro. Finally we get some snow in Colorado. What the.
[00:08:10] Speaker A: I love it.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: I love it, dude. Yeah, I wanted to call out sick and go snowboarding today. So bad.
[00:08:19] Speaker A: Well, it's been snowing in the mountains, hasn't it?
[00:08:21] Speaker B: Oh, we finally got. Yeah, the resorts are finally starting to get some snow.
[00:08:25] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:08:25] Speaker B: So I, I, I text Levi right away. I was like, dude, I hope we get powder for our birthday. That'd be epic.
[00:08:33] Speaker A: It's a couple weeks away, dude.
[00:08:35] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a, it's, it's on a Sunday, which is bittersweet because it's cool. It's on a weekend. But yeah, it'd be nice if it was during the weekday because then it'd be less crowds and stuff because I'd be taken, I'd be going skiing no matter what.
[00:08:52] Speaker A: Yeah, why don't you just do it? Why don't you do it in the middle of the week too? Treat yourself, bro. Yeah, like, do like a Wednesday, homie. I don't know if Levi would be able to do that. I mean, I guess, I don't know. You guys have kids. It's not like you can just pick.
[00:09:03] Speaker B: Up and bounce out, dude. Oh, yeah, bro, if I didn't have. Yeah, if I didn't have a wife and kid, I would have took all my meetings up there today.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: Dude, if I didn't put all my money in the business, I would be in Bali. I was literally thinking about that, dude. I was like, I really wish that I would have allocated a certain amount of money to just living in like the cheapest but like most tropical place and then working from there.
[00:09:28] Speaker B: Damn. Yeah.
[00:09:29] Speaker A: You know what I mean? Like, like, because so my old roommate Eric, shout out to Eric was Filipino and we were talking about like the cost of living in the Philippines and he was like, dude, if you are making a hundred thousand dollars a year and you lived in the Philippines, basically everything is taken care of. You'll have a private driver, you'll have your own place, you'll have cleaning people to come through. You could have your own chef. Like, you would be living in like opulence, essentially.
[00:09:57] Speaker B: That's insane.
[00:09:58] Speaker A: Whether or not that's true, I don't know. But I mean, how.
[00:10:01] Speaker B: No, it's, Philippines is a very poor country. I think, like, Thailand's a very similar.
Um, Yeah, I, I've looked at trips, like, because we Were going to do Thailand for our honeymoon.
[00:10:12] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:10:12] Speaker B: And the flight is expensive, but like, to. While you're there, you can ball out and.
And live like a king. And you're. You're in a beautiful place. It's amazing, dude.
[00:10:27] Speaker A: Yeah, so. But I didn't do that. I live at home.
[00:10:33] Speaker B: Hey, that's cool.
That's just as cool, dude.
[00:10:36] Speaker A: It's all right. Yeah, it's quality time.
[00:10:40] Speaker B: I live at home too, dude.
[00:10:42] Speaker A: Yeah, but this is like an extended period of time and I'm starting to really, like.
[00:10:45] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Get cabin fever, bro. But I mean, it is what it is. Like, I'm on a mission, so.
[00:10:50] Speaker B: Yeah, let's hope.
[00:10:51] Speaker A: Let's hope days ahead will get me out of this.
[00:10:54] Speaker B: Yeah, it'll be like one of those, like, remember?
Yeah, yeah, you know, it'll be one of those for sure.
[00:11:01] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, remember when we had that live cast and nobody showed up except for that one person for 30 seconds?
[00:11:07] Speaker B: Dude. Yeah, I was going to ask you about that with the headphones so that it didn't. It didn't.
Their email or whatever. Okay.
[00:11:16] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:11:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I have one left, so I'm saving it for this evening.
[00:11:22] Speaker B: I might.
Might.
[00:11:26] Speaker B: Quit for my beginning in January.
[00:11:29] Speaker A: We'll see. Well, look, you can do you. I'll just be a bad influence and be throwing them in every five minutes.
[00:11:37] Speaker B: I just. Dude, I. I go through. I. I'm doing like probably six or seven a day.
[00:11:43] Speaker A: That's a lot. I do maybe two. Oh.
[00:11:45] Speaker B: See what I'm saying? I have a problem. I have two in right now.
[00:11:49] Speaker A: But I will say. I will say. So this morning I. I took one and I had no food. I had been drinking nothing but coffee and water. Had just gotten done with the gym, and I thought for sure it was gonna me up wasn't that bad. And I thought to myself, damn, maybe I'm getting used to these sixes.
[00:12:09] Speaker B: That's great. That's crazy.
[00:12:11] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:12:11] Speaker B: No, if you're only doing two a day, bro, you're. You're probably not you.
I would strive for.
[00:12:18] Speaker A: The next one I get is going to be three. The next one I'm gonna get is three. Yeah, just, you know, whatever. But you know me. I have problems with substances.
[00:12:26] Speaker B: Dude.
[00:12:27] Speaker A: I.
[00:12:27] Speaker B: Me too. It's caffeine. I'm definitely a stimulant. Like. Yeah, I. I probably already had 250 milligrams of caffeine today.
[00:12:37] Speaker A: Damn.
[00:12:38] Speaker B: Is that a lot?
[00:12:39] Speaker A: I don't. I mean, I don't. I guess I don't really measure But I think 250.
[00:12:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Because I. I had like, let's see those cold brew cans from.
I don't even know, from Costco. I think they're 225. And I had one and then I had a sprinkle of Celsius in my water, so I'm okay.
[00:12:58] Speaker A: Hold on a minute, bro. You need to be careful with that because last time you went to the hospital when you overdose on caffeine.
[00:13:05] Speaker B: Yeah. But the difference is it was a combination. I was, I was, I was.
That was like more anxiety, I feel like.
[00:13:13] Speaker A: Yeah, I can see that.
[00:13:14] Speaker B: I. I think it was just. I definitely just overdid it. And that was pre workout, bro. Yeah, that's pre workout. Pre workout's a different animal.
[00:13:22] Speaker A: Oh, 100%. Yeah, 100%. So the other night, bro, I'm cooking. I'm cooking my food, right? I'm cooking my. My meal prep for the week. And I took an edible, but I was like, I. I kind of want to. Like, it was during the Bronco game.
[00:13:34] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:13:34] Speaker A: Which I want to get to in a minute. And I took.
I took about 15 milligrams, which I haven't done for a long time.
[00:13:40] Speaker B: Dude.
[00:13:41] Speaker A: Yeah, I sent it and I was cooking and I almost had a full blown panic attack.
I almost had to come downstairs and like, breathe myself into.
Back into reality.
[00:13:53] Speaker B: The devil, dude.
[00:13:54] Speaker A: My heart was. My heart was racing, my palms were getting sweaty. I was like, trying to figure out. I'm like, okay, just calm down. Like, just focus on cooking your food.
[00:14:03] Speaker B: Like, dude, I'm sweating. My hands are sweating just thinking about it.
[00:14:06] Speaker A: My hands are sweating talking about it. It was miserable. I'll never do it again. Every time I do this, I think, oh, it's okay. Like, you're. You can handle it. Like, you've been there before.
Terrible idea.
[00:14:18] Speaker B: Terrible idea, dude. I think that's one of the funniest side effects of marijuana. Because I. There's so many times if I get too high, I'm just like, dude, I'm never gonna smoke again. Like, I'm never.
And then I find myself getting high again.
[00:14:34] Speaker A: The only thing I could think. The only thing I could think was like, I really hope that this deters me from using tomorrow. And then the next day I fucking was like, I don't.
[00:14:43] Speaker B: I've. Dude, there's been days I'm just like, that I. I, like, would get too ripped if I smoke a J.
And then I'll just be like, dude, just let me live till tomorrow and I'll Stop.
[00:14:57] Speaker B: And then I don't.
[00:14:59] Speaker A: Actually.
[00:15:00] Speaker B: I've toned it back. Big time, bro. Big time.
[00:15:03] Speaker A: That's good.
[00:15:03] Speaker B: I had to. It's just too hard. It's just.
It's just too hard to, like, you just don't. I just don't get to enjoy it as much. So when I just do it sporadically, it's way more fun and enjoy.
[00:15:15] Speaker A: I. I hear you on that, bro. And. And for me, if I'm. If I take it and I'm not doing anything, like, if I'm just sitting around, I really don't enjoy it.
[00:15:24] Speaker B: You have to do something, like, dude, playing video games.
That was fun.
[00:15:30] Speaker A: That's.
[00:15:31] Speaker B: That's a lot of fun.
[00:15:32] Speaker A: Yeah, I. This might be lame, but when I. When I, like, have to clean. No, that's one of my favorite things to do. Hop in edible, put on a podcast and then clean. And I like cleaning. I don't mind cleaning. It's not a big deal to me. Like, I like. I like having a neat, you know, living area. I like to mop my floors and vacuum and make sure everything is all tidy. So, like, getting high and doing that is a lot of fun for me.
[00:15:56] Speaker B: Dude. Before my son, I would love to do that, too. And then my wife would notice that everything was cleaner because I'm all, like, focused more, and I'm just like, I'm actually enjoying it.
[00:16:09] Speaker A: She probably loved it, dude.
[00:16:10] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Now I'm just like, whatever.
[00:16:13] Speaker A: Yeah. You just don't have time, bro. You're. It's one thing to the next, to the next, to the next, to the next. It's like. Like, who has time for cleaning? Cleaning is almost like, being able to clean on a consistent basis is almost like a privilege.
[00:16:25] Speaker B: Dude. I used to. I used to. I wouldn't say, like, shame. No, not even shame. It just be like, dude, I don't understand why people hire cleaners for the house. I was like, that's so suburban. Like, blah, blah. Now I'm just like, dude, I would pay 100 bucks for someone to clean our house. But my wife cleans 24 7, so it's cool.
[00:16:45] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, she. Well, she loves it. Yeah.
Love.
[00:16:49] Speaker B: I don't think. I just think she can't. She has to. Yes.
I think she's programmed. Like, yeah, her OCD gets the best of her.
[00:16:57] Speaker A: That's hilarious. You know, one thing that, like, a couple years ago when I was obsessed with, like, building wealth or whatever, everybody talked about, like, things that just take up your time. And to your point, earlier, like, some People think that it's just so, like, suburbian to hire a cleaning person. And the way that these people are talking about is, like, it gives me time back so I can focus on my business.
[00:17:20] Speaker B: That's what I'm saying, bro.
[00:17:21] Speaker A: You know what I mean?
[00:17:22] Speaker B: What's, you know, it's funny you bring that up, because I have been on the fence about ordering.
[00:17:30] Speaker B: Meals.
[00:17:31] Speaker A: I was just gonna bring that up.
[00:17:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I, I've, like, I've contemplated it over and over again, and I've, like, research meals sounds like Factor is one of the best brands out there for milk. And it's like, dude, do I want to spend a hundred bucks?
I don't know if it's a hundred a week or 102 weeks or whatever it is, but then I'm like, man, going to the store cooking, like, yes. Could I cook on Sundays and watch the football? For sure. I, I, I could. I, I should be more disciplined. But then at the same time, dude, it's like, that's my only day to really like my weekends. I just want to be lazy, dude. I just don't. I don't want to do anything. But then, you know, and I also just think when you're go, go, go, I just rather not miss out on my macros. So I don't know, I might, I might consider it.
[00:18:18] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, I think another, I mean, to that point, like, it helps you fit in the nutrients that you're looking to get.
[00:18:24] Speaker B: That's the thing.
[00:18:25] Speaker A: Because, like, my one. So I feel like I'm gaining more body fat than I want. And it's, it's because I'm just kind of like, throwing out, like, okay, this. I'm gonna eat this. This at this time, I need. I haven't sat down and calculated my fats, proteins, carbohydrates like I normally would. I'm just like, oh, as long as they get X amount of protein, I'll be good. But what I'm finding is, like, that little extra bit of butter that I put in my, you know, my rice and elk, like, that adds calories, and I'm not even thinking about it. Yeah. And I had to kind of take a backseat on protein shakes because, like, if I have a protein shake plus eggs, plus sausage. Yeah, cool. I'm getting 50 grams of protein in one sitting. But, like, it's not really going towards the body that I'm looking to, you know, looking to have. Right. So. And my metabolism's obviously getting slower as we're getting old, but, I mean, it is what it is?
[00:19:16] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:19:17] Speaker A: Oh, no.
[00:19:17] Speaker B: I did butter. I love butter. I. I use so much. I cook with so much butter, bro. It's. It might be a problem. I don't know. I know I need to get my, like, blood work done again soon, but I think I'm in better shape than I was. Like, I shared with you a couple years ago, bro. That is crazy to me.
[00:19:36] Speaker A: You. I didn't. I don't remember you looking like that. And that first picture, dude, you know, it's when we went to the first grc. I remember you being a little bit heavier.
[00:19:45] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:19:45] Speaker A: But your beard kind of masked it. Yeah. You know what I mean?
[00:19:49] Speaker B: But then he was the. I remember struggling with alcohol when I went to grc for sure in that picture, dude. I. I remember I was drinking too much. I was not happy. So not happy, dude.
And then it showed. It fudgeing showed, bro. It's crazy, dude. And I remember going to GRC and just being like, drinking for like, four straight days. And it's like, why? Why?
I mean, don't get me wrong.
We're gonna probably.
[00:20:22] Speaker A: It's gonna be unavoidable.
[00:20:24] Speaker B: It was too.
Way too much.
[00:20:27] Speaker A: Like.
[00:20:28] Speaker B: Like, we have our golf tournament for GRC in January. It's going to be three. Three days. Four days of being there. And it's like, I'll have beverages, but nowadays, bro, it's like.
It's like two, three.
Like, that's. I rarely go over for, you know, drinks, and even that is, like, too much, bro. Two, three is too much. Yeah.
[00:20:50] Speaker A: You know?
Yeah.
I think I have one drink and then don't give a. Anymore.
[00:20:57] Speaker B: That's the problem. That's the problem.
[00:20:59] Speaker A: It's almost like I can't even drink at all, which is fine with me. I. I have got. Really.
When we. For Thanksgiving, I honestly was not looking forward to drinking.
[00:21:10] Speaker B: Totally same.
[00:21:10] Speaker A: But I knew that we were going to. And I was like, okay, sure, I'll kick one back. Like, it is what it is. As soon as you have that first one, though, it feels so good.
[00:21:20] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:21:20] Speaker A: And then you're like, okay, I wanna. I want another one. And then you have that next one. And you're like, okay, now we're having. Now we're vibing. And now we're playing games and everyone's into it. We're laughing. And then one more.
[00:21:32] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:21:33] Speaker A: That one more.
Over the top. Didn't need it. Unnecessary.
Woke up the next morning feeling like. And it's like, yeah, like, why can't. Why in that moment, can I Not just be like, hey, like, you're good.
[00:21:44] Speaker B: Well, dude, I went, you know, I have my. I have our journal and I. I track all my workouts in our journal and stuff like that. And I like, looked at all my dates and everything. And then I track it with my watch and I'm like, look, you started drinking. I worked up. I worked out all the way up to Thanksgiving. And then I drank, Drank back to back days. Oh, yeah, I took that third day off. So I took three days off because I was boozing. I was like that.
But I also, like, kind of just had the mindset of I've been grinding all three days off is not horrible. But at the same time, I didn't feel good. I was getting anxiety, you know, and stuff like that. And I'd rather. And then you go back to the gym and you feel a million times better. So it's like, you know.
[00:22:36] Speaker A: Yeah, Yeah. I just. I don't know. GRC is going to be interesting. I might be a buzz kill, to be honest with you, just in terms of not wanting to go. Because. Because, like, here's the thing, bro, is first of all, I want to play well. Yeah, dude, that's my biggest thing. Like, my biggest thing is I just want to play well.
We'll see if that actually comes to fruition, who knows? Second of all, we're going to be on a casino resort.
[00:23:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:23:01] Speaker A: I don't win, I lose all my money. So like my. And maybe this is just my mentality, but like, I show to a blackjack table with 100 bucks and I'm like, okay, how long can I last before I lose my hundred dollars?
[00:23:13] Speaker A: I'm gonna do that three nights in a row.
I'm not interested in that. And then on top of that, there's the drinks.
And again, you know, I'll have a drink and have a good time with the boys. But like, once I get into that, that like, rut, then I don't know how to get out of it. Next thing I know, I'm fucking hungover the next day.
[00:23:31] Speaker B: I think.
Let me give you some reassurance though, because I don't think you're going to be a buzzkill. And here's why. If you think about our whole friend group now, a lot of us have, like, cut back drinking big time.
And the group that's going, I think there's only a couple guys that might and might let loose a little bit. But even then, dude, it's just like letting loose for us is that few drinks. Like, I think Everyone has a mindset of going in and playing. Well, but you have your, like, Eric's, your richies that are. They don't drink at all anymore. Alex rarely drinks Will, who you haven't met yet. He's a big drinker. He drinks like every day.
[00:24:11] Speaker A: I haven't met Will.
[00:24:13] Speaker B: I don't think so.
[00:24:14] Speaker A: I don't even. I don't even know who Will is. I didn't even know invited who invited Will.
[00:24:18] Speaker B: He's a golf buddy. We've met through, like, Alex, Eric. He's the guy that gave me the Scotty camera.
[00:24:24] Speaker A: So he's a. Oh, my God.
So he's a simp.
[00:24:28] Speaker B: He's a. He's a. No, he's. He's good people. He's good people.
[00:24:32] Speaker A: He's cool.
[00:24:33] Speaker B: But I'm with you, bro. Like, I.
I mean, obviously we've been, like, practicing and training. Like, I want to play. Well, our last day at grc, the fact that we were so hungover and I would. Had the shakes on the first tee. I don't wanna. I don't want to do that again, bro.
[00:24:50] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:24:50] Speaker B: And I lost my match, and it was because I was hungover, guaranteed.
[00:24:53] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, I lost to that.
[00:24:58] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. We had a lot of fun that night.
[00:25:00] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, A lot of fun. That was the night. The next day I lost to the kid with the ice putter. Ice cube putter.
[00:25:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:07] Speaker A: That's terrible. Yeah, that's terrible. My putting, I think, is getting a lot better, man. I practice every night.
[00:25:12] Speaker B: Good, dude.
[00:25:13] Speaker A: Hopefully. Hopefully to get better. So I'm talking to Austin and he's like, hey, bro, I just want to say thank you so much. Like, you brought so many people to the tournament. Like, that's so killer. And I'm like, honestly, dude, 100% goes to Richie. Like, Richie recruited all those people. I. I don't want the credit because I think. I don't. One person who I'm not going to name on the podcast, in my opinion, is a liability. We'll see what happens.
[00:25:37] Speaker B: I.
[00:25:37] Speaker A: Let's hope that he's a nice person, but I don't know. I don't know what's going to happen.
[00:25:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:25:42] Speaker A: You know what I'm talking about.
[00:25:43] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:25:44] Speaker A: It might be a great time. Might be a great time, but I don't know. I don't know. I'm just like, I'm deflecting. That's not me. I don't know. I brought James and I invited Richie and that's that. So. But I'M Dude, I'm so excited to see Wilden.
[00:25:57] Speaker B: Oh, dude, it's going to be so much fun, man.
[00:26:01] Speaker B: I wish you would come out a little bit earlier to do a practice round with us, but I totally get it.
[00:26:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, here's my thing about the practice round. First of all, it's never done good for me. It's not like. It's not like I've. Oh, this practice round, I really dialed in my fucking five iron. Great. Oh, wow. Okay. Well, you know, in the practice round, you don't get to know the course. We're not golfing the course that we're golfing the rest of the weekend. Yeah.
Right. So it's like you're not. You're not learning the chorus. You're not learning the greens, I think.
[00:26:33] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:26:33] Speaker A: And then on top of that, it's just another day of being stiff and having to loosen up and get ready for the next day and.
[00:26:41] Speaker A: So. And it's another couple hundred bucks, bro. And I'm like, I'm not trying again. Like, I'm not trying to be.
[00:26:47] Speaker B: No, here.
I mean, it makes sense.
[00:26:50] Speaker A: Zero. I see. I've done practice rounds before. Grc. Before.
Never seen a difference in the way that I play. It's just another reason to be with the boys. I love being with the boys. I'll be with them for three days in a row.
[00:27:01] Speaker B: Yeah, no, I totally like. And the only reason why it was an easy switch for us, it only changed my flight by, like, two hours. Yeah, that was it.
And for me, I'm just, like. It'll give us opportunity just to shake the cobwebs off and, you know, get.
[00:27:17] Speaker A: But aren't we doing that twice a week already?
[00:27:19] Speaker B: Yeah, but we will. We probably. We might get one round in because, you know, with Winter, we might. It'll just. For me, it'll just give me, like, make me feel a little comfortable just being out playing golf and actually getting.
But I. I totally hear you because it. I. I think there's something to say about, like, overplaying can mess you up too. Um. But, yeah, we'll see.
[00:27:45] Speaker A: It is what it is. The only thing I will say is I was like, fuck, now I gotta get my own Uber.
Gotta get my own uber.
[00:27:52] Speaker B: It's like 30 minutes, too.
[00:27:54] Speaker A: I know.
[00:27:55] Speaker B: Yeah, it's 30 minutes.
[00:27:56] Speaker A: 30 minutes is that far? It's that far. Yeah, because I was looking at. I was looking at it on a map and it's like Highway 85. You can take the whole way.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: Yeah, it's. It's Damn. Do you remember where Tony used to work and live in Fountain Hills area?
[00:28:11] Speaker A: I never went to Tony's house. I met him for brunch on my way to San Diego once, but I'd never.
[00:28:15] Speaker B: Okay, it's out. It's out that way. So.
Yeah.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: Are you guys getting a car? Are you guys renting a car?
[00:28:22] Speaker B: I don't think so. We'll probably just.
[00:28:24] Speaker A: Yeah, okay.
[00:28:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I imagine we're just gonna uber and I mean, I. We only need to get to the casino and then that's it.
[00:28:34] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:28:34] Speaker B: I might try to see my grandma while we're out there. Oh, cool. Yeah, I'm gonna see if I can, like, maybe see her for dinner or something the night. I don't know. I don't know. I'm gonna try to work out the logistics and see.
[00:28:46] Speaker A: Dude, next. I wish you. I wish we would. I wish I would have thought about this earlier.
We should get her in the tournament, bro. We should hit up Austin. Be like if anybody drops out.
Grandma.
[00:28:57] Speaker B: Dude, I love grandma, but no way, dude.
No way. I would love that, dude. It be hilarious.
[00:29:04] Speaker A: Obviously I'm kidding. But yeah, totally. It would be. It would be fun.
[00:29:08] Speaker B: Now that I think about it, there's no girls. There's never. There's no girls. So it is just a guys tournament now I think about it.
[00:29:14] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't know.
[00:29:16] Speaker B: Which makes sense.
[00:29:17] Speaker A: Yeah. Are we gonna get pirate flags?
[00:29:19] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, we gotta do that. Dude, when I looked, they were like, for decent ones for the car, they're like 30, 40 bucks.
[00:29:27] Speaker A: Well, I just googled pirate flags and I saw some for like 20 bucks. Like, I put golf pirate.
[00:29:33] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:33] Speaker A: And it has like. Like the teeth are T's and then like, the eyes are golf balls.
And then like the. The.
[00:29:40] Speaker B: Oh, that's cool.
[00:29:40] Speaker A: The cross.
The crossbones are like clubs.
[00:29:44] Speaker B: We should tie someone else with it.
[00:29:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, so I don't know. It's a. It's a weird dynamic, like, because I didn't realize he was going to put us all on the same team.
[00:29:54] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:55] Speaker A: And I don't know if you remember Pierce, but Pierce is usually the captain of the Pup Pirates.
I don't know if he's still on our team this year or whatnot, but I kind of feel guilty that he's not.
If he's not, I kind of feel guilty about it.
[00:30:07] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:30:08] Speaker A: So I kind of feel like I got to make up for it and rep the Pirates hard, dude.
[00:30:12] Speaker B: I mean, we're. We're rolling deep, dude. We're Rolling with. We're rolling with a lot of cats, bro.
[00:30:17] Speaker A: It's going to be hilarious.
[00:30:18] Speaker B: Dude, we better win all that.
We better win.
You can't show up and I'll just choke, dude. That would be embarrassing.
[00:30:26] Speaker A: Oh, it'd be my nightmare, actually. Would be fine. I don't really care.
[00:30:31] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll be fine.
[00:30:33] Speaker A: So, dude, tell me about your wrapped, bro. So I was laying on my bed and I was, like, taking a break or whatever, and I opened up my phone. The Wrapped. Like, The Spotify Wrapped 2025. So much fun. There's something about that that I just really enjoy. And there's something. And, like, throughout the year, I'll listen to music and be like, 100. This is going to be on my wrapped.
[00:30:54] Speaker A: I have a couple of embarrassing ones.
So my number one song and my number two artist is the same person is this girl named Jesse Reyes.
[00:31:04] Speaker B: Jesse Reyes.
[00:31:06] Speaker A: Dude, I was like, what the.
[00:31:10] Speaker B: That have been hilarious if it was like T. Swift or something.
[00:31:13] Speaker A: No, no, no. That is. That would not.
[00:31:15] Speaker B: Jesse Reyes. Is she a rapper or who is she?
[00:31:18] Speaker A: No, no, it's like. I don't know. It's like pop music, I guess, like R and B pop. I don't really know what you'd classify her as, but she's a short queen Latina.
And something about her music, bro, I just get down to. But she was my number two artist, and two of my top five songs was Jesse Reyes.
[00:31:37] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:31:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:31:39] Speaker B: Damn.
[00:31:40] Speaker A: Good for you. Well, it is what it is.
[00:31:42] Speaker B: The other one, I was number one.
[00:31:44] Speaker A: The same guy for the fifth year in a row, Nipsey Hussle.
[00:31:49] Speaker B: Oh, there you go.
[00:31:50] Speaker A: I am such a Nipsey Hussle fan. He's like my number one guy in the gym. I think that's what it is.
[00:31:55] Speaker B: Yeah. I was gonna say, I think a lot of my stuff definitely is. Is related to the gym.
[00:32:00] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:01] Speaker B: But at the same time, like, just in general. Like, let's see. Number one. Who? Dude, my number one's interesting.
[00:32:08] Speaker A: What is it?
[00:32:09] Speaker B: Rufus De Soul.
[00:32:11] Speaker A: That's like. What is that? Like, edm?
[00:32:13] Speaker B: Yeah, edm. Yeah. Zach Brian's number two. Morgan Wallen. Yeah, dude.
[00:32:19] Speaker A: And Mark Wallen's your number three. You're just Jam in the country, dude.
[00:32:22] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm a country boy. Eminem still number and then excisions. Number five.
Really?
[00:32:29] Speaker A: That's hilarious. My number three was Damso.
[00:32:35] Speaker B: Damso.
[00:32:36] Speaker A: French hip hop.
[00:32:36] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:32:38] Speaker A: And then my number four, if I remember correctly. Don't have to look. Number four was Bob Marley. Which is really bad because I listen to Bob Marley when I take naps.
[00:32:53] Speaker B: That means you're napping all the time.
[00:32:55] Speaker A: I was like, okay, well, I gotta. If I can get out of that real quick.
[00:32:58] Speaker B: Bob's good. That's good music.
[00:33:00] Speaker A: And then. And then I'm proud of number five. I'm proud of number five, which is Jedi mind tricks.
[00:33:05] Speaker B: Good for you.
[00:33:06] Speaker A: Old school hip hop. Yeah.
[00:33:07] Speaker B: For you.
[00:33:08] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I love any paws. I mean, I. I'll get down to his music any day of the week. So I was happy about. About that. And then my podcast. Let me hear your podcast. You sent me your podcast. Joe Rogan, of course. Number one.
[00:33:19] Speaker B: Yeah, I. I hate to be a bro, but it's just like, he just has really good.
Yes.
[00:33:27] Speaker A: He's doing three or four podcasts a week, dog.
[00:33:30] Speaker B: Yeah. And it's just always good guess. Like, he's just got such. It's always people that you're just so interested. Like, Joe loved Joe to death, dude. He's the goat. But like, he. He gets repetitive. And I get a little sometimes with him, but at the same time, it's like, dude, he's still just. He's just so well spoken. And. Yeah, he's. He's just curious. He's just curious. And he's just. He's. He's got the right people on Huberman's number two, which I'm very proud of, dude.
[00:33:56] Speaker A: I'm proud of it for you, dude. Yeah, I'm happy that you listen to so much Huberman.
[00:34:02] Speaker B: It's just where he's just. He's got so much good science and information. I thought Williamson would be on there higher.
[00:34:11] Speaker B: And then. Yeah, number three is Number three, and four is two different fantasy football podcasts.
And then number five, the motivation Daily motivity. I motivate. So it's like a motivational. It's hype. Just gets you hype and stuff like that.
[00:34:27] Speaker A: Is it just like. Is it just clips of people, like, saying motivational things or like, what is it?
[00:34:31] Speaker B: Yeah, it's pretty much like, you know, you just hear.
[00:34:35] Speaker B: Like, David Goggins and Arnold and in all your. You know, stuff like that just gets you hyped, so.
[00:34:42] Speaker A: Well, my. My podcasts are not much. Not much better than yours. Okay, my first one is chorus Joe. Okay. Shout out to Joe.
[00:34:50] Speaker B: He.
[00:34:50] Speaker A: And. And to your point, like.
[00:34:53] Speaker A: He does get repetitive, but he brings on people that I've never heard of before that I'm just so fascinated by, like, listening to that Lucky Palmer dude.
[00:35:01] Speaker B: Dude, even Though, Even though.
[00:35:03] Speaker A: Yeah, even though I think he's going to be part of the downfall of humankind.
So much fun to listen to.
[00:35:10] Speaker B: He, you just hit the way his brain operates. You can tell he's moving a million miles per second. He's. He just can't turn it off. He's brilliant. Like, anyway.
[00:35:20] Speaker A: And he's like outgoing and like kind of funny and just like he has a good personality. Like, I can see myself hanging out with that dude, geeking out on whatever the he wants to talk about. Like, he, like, that was a fun conversation to listen to and I had no idea it was going to be like that, dude.
[00:35:35] Speaker B: That technology is making for the troops that they're already. That is insane, bro. That is insane. We're literally in the video games we used to play as kids where they're futuristic and stuff like that. We're literally in that real time.
[00:35:50] Speaker A: Totally.
[00:35:51] Speaker B: It's absolutely mind blowing, dude.
[00:35:53] Speaker A: Totally. No, it's wild. I wonder how useful it is in the era of drones.
[00:36:00] Speaker A: Because as drones get better, like, is it just going to be drone versus drones in the future? You know what I mean?
[00:36:07] Speaker B: It's literally going to be robot versus robot, right?
[00:36:11] Speaker B: You know, dji, like.
[00:36:15] Speaker B: I haven't turned my drone on in a minute and I wonder if it even operates right now.
[00:36:20] Speaker A: I don't know. It's banned.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a bummer, dude, because that's a really expensive drone.
[00:36:26] Speaker A: I have a. Maybe I could be totally wrong. I have a feeling that what's already been sold in the United States can stay here, but I don't think they can continue to sell into the States. I think that's the caveat. But I could be wrong. I really don't. I haven't read anything like that and tell you, yeah, turn it on and tell me. And then if they don't, if it doesn't work, dude, let's see if they'll give us a refund. When I say, yeah, it's. I like how it's your drone and I'm like, us, let's see if they give us a refund, dude.
[00:36:52] Speaker B: Even if I, I, I mean, I would like to make sure I get a keep in stuff like that. But even if I don't, the amount of footage I got like in Switzerland and all the footage I've gotten on that already has just been incredible.
[00:37:03] Speaker A: Amazing.
[00:37:04] Speaker B: Amalfi Coast, Switzerland.
The mountains here. Like, dude, you did it right, bro.
[00:37:10] Speaker A: Yeah, you did it right. You were smart to bring that. That's cool.
[00:37:12] Speaker B: That was a Cool trip, dude.
My life, for sure.
[00:37:16] Speaker A: Okay, so Joe is my number one. Of course. Love, Joe. Shout out to Joe Rogan, greatest of all time, number two.
Man, nobody. Nobody does it better than Theo Vaughn. Dude, that guy's the man. He's my number two. And the reason why is because he's.
He brings on guests that I'm like, what the fuck are we doing here? And there's so much fun to listen to. He was talking about he. He brought on a Boston detective, like a former Boston detective, and she was fun to listen to. He brought on a fucking chauffeur, and he was hilarious to listen to. He brought on that, like, little young Amish boy a couple months ago. That was fun to listen to. And I think he's getting a lot more intelligent as time goes on. I think he's, like, really bringing, like. Like, if you listen to the Matthew McConaughey episode, he really brings in some great, like, insightful thoughts and opinions. So Theo Hans, number two. What's that?
[00:38:10] Speaker B: I was just gonna say I. The only caveat with this is. This is just Spotify, because I actually. Even though, like, 3 and 4 was fantasy football, like, dude, I haven't listened. I used to be a nut job. Like, I used to.
[00:38:24] Speaker A: I know.
[00:38:25] Speaker B: Yeah. I used to listen every single day I listen to fantasy football. Those days are over. Like, I. That's what's kind of. That's why I was a little surprised that it was on there because I rarely listened to it anymore.
But Because. But yeah, to your point, like, Theo Vaughn I'll do on YouTube.
[00:38:44] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I listen to a lot of YouTube stuff, for sure.
[00:38:46] Speaker B: Yeah. But.
Yeah, but Theo's the man.
[00:38:49] Speaker A: Yeah, Theo's a man. He's so funny. Number three is the only one that I'm, like, super proud of, which is Chris Williamson. Nice modern wisdom. So I'm happy about that.
[00:38:58] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:38:59] Speaker A: Number four.
The only reason why this is not my number one is because they only put out one episode a week. Otherwise, when Harm.
[00:39:06] Speaker B: Shane.
[00:39:07] Speaker A: That is Shane's Secret podcast is my favorite podcast of all time, and it is so useless for my life. It does nothing for me other than just bring me pure joy.
[00:39:16] Speaker B: That's the best part is, like, that's the. Those are the. Those are the fun ones where you're like, dude, I'm just trying to have something on, and totally. I don't need to pay attention. Super in depth. But then you just hear those little things.
Yeah, yeah.
[00:39:31] Speaker A: And then number five is Candace Owens. Bro.
[00:39:34] Speaker B: I knew it. I knew It.
I knew it, dude. That's funny.
[00:39:40] Speaker A: I saw that.
[00:39:41] Speaker B: I was like, of course, that actually.
[00:39:43] Speaker A: Could be number one if I had been listening to her earlier on in the year, because she puts out five podcasts or four podcasts a week.
[00:39:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:49] Speaker A: And I've been listening to her a lot on YouTube, too, so she's probably. I probably listened more her than most of those other ones, but.
[00:39:55] Speaker B: That's funny.
[00:39:56] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was really funny.
[00:39:58] Speaker B: It's funny, man. It's. I mean, as we're on a podcast, it's just. It is kind of funny to think that just, like, the world, you know, that's how we get so much information now. And tv, you know, we. We still watch tv, but it's like, the only TV I really watch is sports, you know, I really don't watch tv. Or if we're watching shows, you know, with. With the. With the Mrs. But other than that, dude, it's like, I'd rather throw in a pod and listen to people jabber for a couple hours.
[00:40:27] Speaker A: Totally. I'm trying to get into the routine of, like, at the end of the night, I try to wait till the end of the night to put on, like, a podcast because otherwise I kind of get wrapped up in it. And I like how I'm like, oh, I have to finish this conversation.
[00:40:39] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:40:39] Speaker A: You know what I mean? And, like, you can't do that with Joe because his show is, like, three hours long.
[00:40:43] Speaker B: Right.
[00:40:45] Speaker A: But I'll use that time to put on a podcast. I dim the lights so that I can get better sleep, and I putt.
[00:40:51] Speaker B: Nice. That's the best time to do it. For sure.
[00:40:53] Speaker A: It's the best time to do it, dude. And. And, you know, I'm. I'm full from food, so I don't want to think. I don't want to, you know, I don't want to, like, have to do any work, which sometimes I have to, but it is what it is.
But just to sit there and just putt and just put on a podcast and listen to people talk about wild shit is fun. Yeah. I'm going to send you a podcast I want you to listen to, if you'd be willing to. Yeah. The only problem is, is it might be a gateway drug, and you might just be obsessed with it.
[00:41:20] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:41:21] Speaker A: That's all.
[00:41:21] Speaker B: I'm out.
[00:41:23] Speaker A: All right.
How long do you have the hour?
[00:41:27] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. We got a little bit longer.
[00:41:31] Speaker A: Okay. All right. Dude. How about them, Bronco?
[00:41:37] Speaker B: Dude, I love it. I. I had expectations for us to be Pretty damn good this year. But they're, they're over exceeding my expectations. And now it's like the, the possibility of us actually going to the super bowl is. I mean.
[00:41:52] Speaker A: Yeah, we're, we're such an odd team though, because, like, if you look at the. If you look at the record, we're only winning by a handful of points each game. The only blowout we have with, I think was Dallas.
[00:42:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:42:02] Speaker A: Was the only one. Was the only one where on the at during the fourth quarter, I was chilling. I was like, okay, I'm happy.
We're most likely going to win the game. Every other game is like a nail biter for what?
[00:42:17] Speaker B: Every single game.
[00:42:18] Speaker A: Doesn't matter if it's a good team or a bad team. It's just a nail biter the whole time, dude.
[00:42:22] Speaker B: Even our.
But that's safe to say it's our two losses. Was the same thing.
[00:42:28] Speaker A: True.
[00:42:28] Speaker B: You know what I mean? Like, we literally, we, we. And that's when the Colts were the hottest. You know, they came out the gates, uh, they've been cold lately, but the Colts were a really good team at that time. And we only lost by a field goal. And then the Chargers, you know, at the same time, they, they came out hot too, so.
[00:42:46] Speaker A: And we got screwed. Well, we didn't really get screwed. That guy did. Been a penalty during the.
[00:42:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:42:51] Speaker A: Colts game. You know, like when he. The field goal.
[00:42:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:42:54] Speaker A: Unfortunately, that really. That kind of was a penalty.
[00:42:57] Speaker B: Yeah. But even then, I think at the end of the day, man, I, you know, it literally is where we're literally reminding myself of the Chiefs of last year. You know, it's like, it's not, it's not cute, It's. It's kind of ugly, but it's like we're finding ways to win. They made it all the way. They lost.
You know, but it's like I was.
[00:43:19] Speaker A: I was watching this clip of Akib Talib.
[00:43:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:43:23] Speaker A: Talking about it.
[00:43:24] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. With.
[00:43:27] Speaker B: Skip Bayless.
[00:43:28] Speaker A: I don't know who he's on to. I just saw a clip. I don't know, but he made a really good point. And he was like, he's like. If you look at the two years that the Broncos went to the championship with Manning.
[00:43:37] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Manning played like shit well the first year. Yeah.
[00:43:40] Speaker A: Dominant. We destroyed everybody. We were crushing everybody. We had the most touchdowns, most points. We were the best offense that the league had ever seen. Go to the super bowl. And what happens.
[00:43:51] Speaker B: Yeah, we got it.
[00:43:51] Speaker A: You know what I mean? Like, we get blown out by a defense, Don Elway pours a bunch of, you know, resources into the defense.
And then that year, it wasn't pretty. We weren't blowing people out like the way that we. We were. That. That one year with Manning, Manning didn't look very good. It almost said like, maybe that was going to be like, okay, we got what we could get out of him and we win the Super Bowl. So you just never know. And then he goes and he said, part of that, and I don't know how, I mean, who fucking knows what a coin does.
[00:44:19] Speaker A: Is the fact that that team had, the second team had really had to prove themselves to themselves and have calluses on their hands and they really had to earn everything. And so by the time they got to the championship, they were still hungry. Yep. They were fighting like dogs, you know what I mean?
[00:44:34] Speaker B: And, and also.
[00:44:39] Speaker B: If you think about, like, from a peer stats perspective, I don't know what the data is. I'm sure you could pull it up. But like, Bo had a rookie season like crazy last year. Like his qbr, everything he was, I mean, he was in line with rookie of the year. I don't know if, I don't. I don't remember who won it. I think it was maybe Jane Daniels or whatever the case may be. But his, his personal stats were way better and he was still winning games. But if this year I.
His stats might be a little bit lower individually. But if you think about, like, where it matters most and, and where he's game managing, that's all that matters, bro.
He's showing up at the right times that. For that overtime drive on Washington, that, that, that falling down throw to Sutton when we got our first touchdown. It's like, dude, those are the moments totally. And he's not turning the ball over. Like he is turning the ball over, but very minimal. He's not taking sacks. Like, that's the type of like, who gives a shit? Who gives a shit?
I play fantasy. A lot of people do. I have Bronco players and it's like they spread it around like not one player really does well every week, but we're winning games and at the end of the day, bro, we're 10 and two. And there's something to be said about it. The NFL. It's the NFL every single team can upset. Like, the Panthers just beat the Rams, you know, and.
[00:46:12] Speaker A: Yeah, and to be honest with you, bro, I, I'm not that. I'm like, I don't follow his play very well. I've never seen Mariota play like that before?
[00:46:20] Speaker B: No.
[00:46:20] Speaker A: Great game. He played a great game. Our defense could barely put any pressure on him.
We got what, one sack the whole game? One sack the whole game. Mariota played out of his mind, dude. You know what I mean? And like they're picking on Moss the whole time I thought Moss did a great job, dude.
[00:46:38] Speaker B: He looked better. Yeah.
[00:46:39] Speaker A: Even though one handed cash, that, that guy got Moss all over him. Nothing you can do. No, nothing you can do. I thought. And the thing is about Moss, bro, is like people are picking on him because he does have, he does have some, you know, PIs or whatever.
He gets targeted more than anybody else in the league from a cornerback position. Yeah, but he's still. But he's has like the lowest completion rate or allows the lowest completion rate or at least he did at one point. Yeah, I think he's playing, I think he's playing excellent. I have no qualms with, with him in our, at our corner at all.
[00:47:11] Speaker B: No, I agree. Dude.
Look, I'm gonna pull up this, look, this stat by.
He's got an NFL rank. Can you see this?
Yeah, yeah, it's just.
[00:47:26] Speaker A: Can you see this?
[00:47:27] Speaker B: Well, you probably could actually. Yeah. 100 coverage, NFL rank. He's got the most targets.
[00:47:34] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying.
[00:47:35] Speaker B: 55 targets. Completion percentage allowed, 40% lowest.
[00:47:41] Speaker A: That's. I mean, what more can you ask for, bro?
[00:47:44] Speaker B: It's like, I get it and I think because we're just such fans and we watch every single day.
[00:47:52] Speaker B: Every game, but at the end of the day, man, he's also gets a little bit more because certainly, I mean, he's got big shoes to fill, dude, you know, so they're not going to, they're going to throw to him more because Sir Tan's shutting down their number one ride receiver, you know what I mean?
[00:48:08] Speaker A: Every game. I mean that's, that's, that's how it goes.
[00:48:12] Speaker B: That play, did you see that play where.
[00:48:17] Speaker B: Number 17.
Who's there? The commanders?
[00:48:22] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:48:24] Speaker A: That was when I was having my marijuana panic attack, bro. I was struggling.
[00:48:29] Speaker B: Oh yeah. Terry McLaurin is like a, he's a stud and he's their number one. And he did this move where he was just walking, walking, walking, acting like he was just like taking the playoff, like they were going to run it or something. And then certain was just step with step with him and then he sprinted and Sir Tan just didn't miss a beat.
[00:48:47] Speaker A: Dude. I'm such a studied dude.
[00:48:49] Speaker B: He's so good.
[00:48:50] Speaker A: Such as.
[00:48:51] Speaker B: So good.
[00:48:51] Speaker A: I know. He's such a stud. And it's funny because, like, when you. When he. When someone does, like, complete. Get a completion on him, I'm like, what the fuck, dude? What are you doing? How are you going to let that happen?
[00:49:01] Speaker B: The man, he's raised the standard, dude.
[00:49:04] Speaker A: Well, that's the whole thing with Bo.
[00:49:06] Speaker B: Yeah, like.
[00:49:08] Speaker A: Like, Bo, if he could just be slightly more consistent throughout the game, there's no doubt that we've got our guy. There's no doubt. And if you look at the stats, we do have our guy.
[00:49:20] Speaker B: We do.
[00:49:21] Speaker A: But there. But there are times in the game that as a Bronco fan, our standards are so high.
[00:49:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:49:26] Speaker A: They were like, what are you doing, bro? Figure it out. Yeah, like, you can't miss that throw. You. You've got to make those. Who the fuck am I, man? I could throw the ball 20 yards max, bro. Dude, like, he's a.
[00:49:37] Speaker B: Not only that, but like, if you. I know this is not even nearly the same, but like, we play football every Thanksgiving. I go, yeah, we played football. And this is just us just getting out there and. And no practice or whatever. Like, just playing once a year. But, dude, it makes you appreciate like, the. How hard even that's a touch football game with your buddies. Imagine 11 going against 11 guys that are trying to kill you.
[00:50:08] Speaker B: Like giants. They're also one thing you don't take in consideration. Their hands are above. Like, they're putting their hands up every time you throw. So it's not like you're just sitting in the pocket and you get to just sit back and I mean, dude, it is. There's a reason why the quarterback position is what it is. Yeah.
[00:50:25] Speaker A: With Dude. With that said, like, I think that we should take a moment to show some tremendous respect to the greatest quarterback of all time, Doug Fluty, where It was like 5 foot 7, Hail Mary passes, just throwing bombs.
[00:50:40] Speaker B: He used to be my favorite.
[00:50:41] Speaker A: He's the man. Shout out to Doug Flutie, bro.
[00:50:44] Speaker B: I used to like the Bill. Yeah. Doug Flutie, dude.
[00:50:46] Speaker A: Yeah, he's my. He's my third favorite quarterback.
Who's.
[00:50:49] Speaker B: Who's your top two?
[00:50:51] Speaker A: John Elway and Tebow.
[00:50:57] Speaker A: I don't even know who my second favorite quarterback is. I'm gonna say Tebow because it was the most amazing year as a rock.
It was the coolest thing ever. Yeah, I love Manning. Don't get me wrong. Like, I love Peyton Manning.
[00:51:08] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:09] Speaker A: I don't know who. My second favorite quarter. You know who it would have been if he wasn't such a. Was Mike, Michael. Vic.
[00:51:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:51:15] Speaker A: God, I loved Vic. And then he came out with that. What the hell?
Oh, let me just tell you a quick story. So I didn't. I've been. I wanted to tell you and Bimbo, which, by the way, Bimbo is so much fun. Dude, he's so funny. Yeah, he's so funny.
So I played. I played basketball for the first time. Pick up basketball for the first time.
I can't even remember last time I played pickup basketball. And the only reason why I agreed, so I had just shown up to the gym, and before I even warm up or do anything, I like to shoot, bro. I. I can't help myself. I just go right to the gym. I. I pick up a basketball routine, too. Love it. And then, and then I go and warm up, like, my shoulders and, you know all that. It's a little out of whack. I get in there and there's two people, and one guy's leaving. So I'm like, cool, I'll take the hoop. The other guy comes up to me and it's this like, taller Asian guy.
Okay.
Dude has a bull haircut, he's wearing a wife beater and he's wearing Crocs.
And he goes, you want to go one on one?
And I go, yeah, I want to go one on one with you. I'll beat you.
[00:52:23] Speaker B: No, I was struggling, dude.
[00:52:26] Speaker A: I was putting up air balls. Chimdi came in and was like, what are you guys doing? And I'm like, oh, I'm. We're playing basketball. First shot I put up airball.
He's beating me the whole game.
And I'm like, there's no way I'm gonna let this fucking guy with Crocs on beat me. So I just went straight Kobe and rallied and ended up winning by one point. We played 21.
Play 21. And it was 19 to 21.
[00:52:52] Speaker B: Damn, dude. Yeah, that's down.
[00:52:55] Speaker A: I was down like 13 to 19 at one point.
[00:52:58] Speaker B: Damn.
[00:52:58] Speaker A: I could not believe. I was like, can't believe I'm losing this kid.
[00:53:02] Speaker B: Well, dude, I mean, no disrespect, but, like, the. I don't think the hard part for you is to score. It's more defense.
[00:53:10] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, here's the thing. The recipe beating me is really simple. You play the post.
[00:53:15] Speaker B: Totally play the post.
[00:53:16] Speaker A: And you're going to beat me because you're going to get me down there one way or another. Like, you can use your weight to push me down or whatever. We're Going to have a battle in the post. If you miss your shot, nine times out of 10, you're going to get the rebound.
[00:53:32] Speaker A: Like, there's nothing I can do. You know what I mean? Like, just keep getting the rebound until you get it in the bucket. You know what I mean?
So that's.
[00:53:40] Speaker B: Yeah, that's comedy.
[00:53:41] Speaker A: Yeah, it's very funny. But I think a lot of people will pay me, will play me and just be like, like, like, Levi, Levi.
[00:53:47] Speaker B: Remember you guys were going at it. Yeah.
[00:53:52] Speaker B: That'S fine.
I'll take all y'. All. That's fine.
[00:53:59] Speaker A: I'm not even gonna say anything, bro. You cheat because you double dribble.
All that and all that. No, you're a good basketball player. I hate playing against you, dude.
[00:54:09] Speaker B: I wish I played. I could play more, dude. I miss it.
[00:54:12] Speaker A: Yeah, it's fun. But I was dead, dude. I, like, there were times where I was like. I thought I was gonna faint. Oh, it's the best.
Yeah. So good, dude. It's so good.
[00:54:20] Speaker B: I'll. I'll.
Come springtime, I'll probably try to play, like, once or twice a week just because of the cardio, to just try to get a little bit leaner.
[00:54:30] Speaker A: Are you playing, like, are you going at a time where there's actual pickup games?
[00:54:33] Speaker B: Nah, that's a problem is every time I go, like, there's never anyone in there, and I'm. I'm like, you, dude. I always start my day. My routine is I walk in a gym and I go straight to the court, and I, I, I do five minutes exactly. And then once I'm done with my five minutes, then I'll. I'll start my actual workout.
[00:54:52] Speaker A: That's funny. You do five minutes. You know what my thing is, is I have to. I'll, like, shoot around, like, however, I just kind of free flow.
[00:54:58] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:54:59] Speaker A: But I have to make 10. Three pointers.
[00:55:01] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:55:01] Speaker A: And then I go to the free throw line and I shoot 10 balls. No more, no less. And if, like, even if it's a 50 and 50, usually it's around 70. I can get seven out of 10 buckets. And then I have to. Then I leave after making three more three pointers.
[00:55:17] Speaker B: Yep. Okay.
[00:55:19] Speaker A: I don't know. Sometimes it's 10 minutes, sometimes it's 20 minutes. Depends on how well my shot's going to.
[00:55:25] Speaker B: It's funny is I do stick to five minutes, but I always do around the world.
Like, I do. So I do elbows, I do baseline corner, back, backboard corner. So I do three shots on One side, Then I do. Or no. Four shots on one side. Then I do the free throw, then I do four on the other side. And then I do the same exact thing on three pointer. So I.
[00:55:52] Speaker B: It's just pretty much a free. Imaginary free throw line just around the inside of the key.
[00:55:57] Speaker A: Mm.
[00:55:58] Speaker B: So it's just like short range, short range shot. But I do the same thing. I don't. Unless I. I don't leave. I don't leave the elbow shots until I make them all.
[00:56:07] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:56:08] Speaker B: And then I move to the 3. Have to make them all. And then I will not walk out of the gym unless I make it.
[00:56:13] Speaker A: Yeah, me too.
[00:56:13] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:56:14] Speaker A: My very last shot has to be a good.
[00:56:17] Speaker B: Yeah, it has to be a swish or close to right.
[00:56:21] Speaker A: 100. Like, if it's a clean shot, I'm like, yeah, but I won't leave on like a. It rolls in type of thing. I'm like, no, no, no. This doesn't feel right. I don't like this.
[00:56:31] Speaker B: The only time I really play is, like, if I go on a Saturday morning and if. If they're still playing, those are those random times I get to play.
Or if I go in to warm up and then someone's like, dude, you want to play real quick? And I'm like, all right.
[00:56:50] Speaker A: I've been dreading. I've been dreading seeing that kid again. I'm like, I don't want to play anymore, dude, that sucks. And my heel hurt the next day. My hip hurt. I, like, I can't do.
[00:57:02] Speaker B: Just went for me. It's just like, if they're younger guys, that's the problem is the gym. That gym, it's a lot more younger people that play.
And those dudes don't know how to, like, control their body and play, like, actual basketball. And it's like, dude, I'm. I'm not trying to get hurt because I always get elbowed. Like, dude, I get black eyes all the time still.
Dudes are crazy.
[00:57:26] Speaker A: Well, that dude. And that's another thing about the.
The.
[00:57:31] Speaker A: The.
What am I thinking? The.
Underneath the hoop.
[00:57:39] Speaker B: What do you mean?
[00:57:40] Speaker A: Like, on the paint. Like in the paint. Oh, I couldn't think of that. I was thinking the post.
[00:57:45] Speaker A: I hate being under there because I don't want people. Because people come down with their elbows. I mean, I don't even like playing that, to be honest with you. Like, in a real game, if it's not one on one, I stay my little ass out of that area, bro.
[00:57:59] Speaker B: Yeah, I try, man. I try to Remember that? And then I find myself, like, when I'm in the game, I just can't turn it off, dude. And I just like, still drive and still. And I'm like, dude, like, I was chatting with Benbow about it separately, just randomly, a little bit ago, about hoops, and he's like, dude, I. I stick to the three point line and that's it. And I was like, I should be better about that. Yeah, yeah.
[00:58:21] Speaker A: That's kind of my game.
I'll let you go here in a minute, but I want to just call out one thing.
So I've made a life decision that I'm not gonna have a Joe Rogan body.
[00:58:36] Speaker B: Well, you're halfway there, so.
[00:58:37] Speaker A: Well, yeah, I mean, you know, from. I can' do anything about my height. But I'm like. I asked. I was talking to the homie and I was like, balance. I was like, hey, listen, like, I've got nice abs, but they're like turtle shell abs. I hate them. Like, help me turtle.
[00:58:54] Speaker B: You do have turtle shell.
[00:58:55] Speaker A: I got turtle shell abs and I hate it. So he, he told me to do a bunch of like, suck ins, like suck in your stomach, like, you know, bodybuilders do.
[00:59:04] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:59:05] Speaker A: And train your transverse abdominal.
So I'm gonna do that.
[00:59:10] Speaker B: I don't think it's gonna change.
You've had those abs since I've known you.
[00:59:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, like, my, my abs are bulky. They've always been bulky. There's nothing do about the bulk. But I. If it looks like I have a gut when I'm not fucking doing anything, that's a problem.
[00:59:25] Speaker B: That's fair.
[00:59:25] Speaker A: You see what I'm saying? Yeah. And. And us doing these fucking videos of us golfing.
You just wait till you start editing. I want you to edit at some point because you'll see how like, you're like, damn, that's who I am.
That's me.
I talk like that. I walk like that.
[00:59:45] Speaker B: Oh, dude, I. I've never watched any of our videos.
[00:59:48] Speaker A: Oh, it's the worst, dude.
[00:59:49] Speaker B: I've never watched everyone and I probably. I don't know if I ever will, dude. Yeah, I don't want to cringe, dude, cringe.
[00:59:58] Speaker A: I mean, there's an element where you're like. You're like, okay, this is where I need to improve.
You know what I mean?
And it gives you like, you know, it gives you an outside perspective.
[01:00:07] Speaker B: Well, the golf swing for sure. You have to.
[01:00:08] Speaker A: Yeah, swing for sure. Which, by the way, dude, I didn't realize my chicken Wing was that bad, bro? It's a situation.
[01:00:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:16] Speaker A: I don't know how to fix it. I don't know how to fix it.
[01:00:17] Speaker B: Use that thing. Use that tool. I got.
[01:00:19] Speaker A: I know 100.
[01:00:20] Speaker B: I'm gonna start chipping, like warming up just half swings with that because that's the.
[01:00:25] Speaker A: I'm down to warm up with that thing.
[01:00:27] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:27] Speaker A: Like if we just warm up with it and then we start to shoot, I think that would be dope.
[01:00:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:00:32] Speaker A: But I don't know. I don't know. I'm trying to assess it as much as I can. I find that people who are tall and skinny just get such good leverage, bro. They just got such a good swing. Like a Joe Rogan body is not made for swinging golf clubs, dude. I don't think.
[01:00:47] Speaker B: I disagree because if you watch Chaz.
[01:00:51] Speaker B: If you watch Chaz, that the little person that played in it, he was so consistently just. I mean, it was just. He gets his hips.
[01:01:01] Speaker A: Let me, let me. So I'm not saying short.
[01:01:04] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:01:05] Speaker A: I'm talking about the. The frame of the body.
[01:01:07] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[01:01:08] Speaker A: Because. Yeah.
[01:01:09] Speaker B: Okay. That's.
[01:01:09] Speaker A: The rotation of my upper body is hard to get.
[01:01:12] Speaker B: That's fair.
[01:01:13] Speaker A: It's hard for me to rotate my upper body as much as like, like, dude, like Wilden is a great example due to. Skinny as shit.
[01:01:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:01:19] Speaker A: He can drive the ball like a champ. That's true. It's such good leverage. Yeah. Like this is.
[01:01:25] Speaker B: No, that's 100.
[01:01:26] Speaker A: And I think Chaz, I. I don't. I can't recall what he looks like, but I think he has short legs but a normal sized torso.
Does that make sense?
So it's just. It's just like different anatomy.
[01:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah. No, I mean, I think being taller, it 100 makes sense because if you're. It's. I don't know if gravity is the word or whatever, but it's like, dude, if you, if you take this swing, all that, all that. I mean, you're. You get this much more.
[01:01:55] Speaker A: Right.
[01:01:55] Speaker B: You're opening up. This is going to create way more force, way more, you know, and if you can leverage it and really, I mean, think about the.
The long drive guys. They're all giants, most of them.
[01:02:08] Speaker A: Totally.
[01:02:08] Speaker B: You know what I mean?
[01:02:09] Speaker A: Yeah, totally.
Yeah, exactly. I mean, anybody.
[01:02:13] Speaker B: Levi. Levi. Consistently, he can. If he actually connects well and gets. Gets his, you know, body right and stuff like that. Dude, he can. He out drives a lot of us and I'm like one of the bigger drivers out of our group.
[01:02:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:02:28] Speaker B: But I'm not the most accurate.
[01:02:31] Speaker A: Yeah, but you. You. When you hit it, bro, you can. You can send it.
[01:02:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I just need to work on the short stuff.
[01:02:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:02:39] Speaker B: Like everyone does.
[01:02:40] Speaker A: Yeah. Are we practicing tomorrow?
[01:02:44] Speaker B: I'll get back to you on that. I want to. I want to.
[01:02:47] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:02:48] Speaker B: Tbd. I gotta look at my calendar.
[01:02:49] Speaker A: Well, I was happy that we moved today.
[01:02:51] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:02:52] Speaker A: Because I. I didn't want to drive. Kristen wants to hang out tonight, and I'm like, we'll see.
[01:02:57] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[01:03:00] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:03:00] Speaker B: I guess with the snow and stuff, it wouldn't even matter, but we'll see.
[01:03:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
And then the other thing before I let you go. Projectors. Send me projectors, homie.
Okay.
[01:03:11] Speaker B: Yeah, I will.
[01:03:12] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, I was waiting for that to come in last night. I was like, oh, I'm kind of curious about this.
[01:03:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I have it. I have one saved. And then if you want. If you're. If you find another one that would actually pair with that too, feel free to send it. But we. That literally would be the last thing we would need.
[01:03:27] Speaker A: We got everything. We got everything else, bro.
[01:03:29] Speaker B: We are.
[01:03:30] Speaker A: Yeah, bro. Test the dgi.
[01:03:34] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:03:34] Speaker A: If it doesn't work, bro, let's pawn that, bro. And then use that money to get a thing. Dude.
[01:03:42] Speaker A: Just.
[01:03:42] Speaker B: It's for the business.
[01:03:44] Speaker A: It's a write off, dude, you have no idea, bro. I'm sick of spending money. I never thought I was gonna say that. Yeah. So let's hope dad can help us.
Bastards.
All right, bro. Well, I love you, dude. Thanks for jumping on with me. And I'm gonna try and see if Sean is free next week. I thought it'd be fun. Oh, Genesis wants to. Come on.
[01:04:06] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[01:04:07] Speaker A: I thought she, you know, she's a beauty pageant girl. We'll do with her. I told her. I was like, I don't ever recall.
[01:04:12] Speaker B: Who that was yet.
[01:04:14] Speaker A: I told her. I was like, listen, I'm gonna be honest with you. Like, we changed the format. Like, we're. We're keeping a lot more casual. And I. She wrote to me. I haven't read the text message, but it sounds like she's like, that's probably for the best.
[01:04:23] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Well, it's just more our style.
[01:04:25] Speaker A: Yeah. And then let's keep thinking of names. I'm gonna send you some ideas later.
[01:04:29] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:04:29] Speaker A: I like the name, but I just want to make sure that we're really 100 with it before we move forward. Okay. Does that make sense?
[01:04:36] Speaker B: Yeah, no, totally.
[01:04:37] Speaker A: I got. I give one idea that I had is, like, just making it, like, Dell Op. Delusionally optimistic. Del Op.
You know what I mean? Like, keeping it short, having a story behind it where we can talk about it, but keeping it short to where maybe people won't get, like, delusionally optimistic. It's great. It fits us perfect. It is a perfect name for us.
[01:04:59] Speaker B: I like the Dell Op. That's cool.
[01:05:01] Speaker A: Yeah. I'll come up with some other things, and I'll just send it your way. And then with James and Quinn.
[01:05:07] Speaker B: Yeah, that's it, dude. I like it. Yeah.
[01:05:11] Speaker A: Okay, well, I'll send you some more ideas, and we'll. Game plan, but.
Love you, dude.
[01:05:16] Speaker B: Love you too, bro.
[01:05:17] Speaker A: All right, man.
[01:05:18] Speaker B: Deuces.
[01:05:19] Speaker A: Peace, man.
